Before the stream, understand the student.

Science, Commerce or Arts is a consequential choice. It need not begin with a job title, a relative's opinion or one set of marks.

A choice with more than one voice

A student may enjoy one subject, score well in another and feel pressure to choose a third. Those signals are worth discussing, but none is the whole person.

Before deciding, ask what holds their attention, what they return to voluntarily, and which kinds of work leave them curious rather than merely relieved.

Look closer

Look for patterns before labels

Write down subjects and activities that invite effort, not only those that produce high marks. Compare what the student likes doing with what they like being praised for.

Then explore the actual subjects, teaching style and future options available at their school. A conversation with teachers or people working in a field can test an assumption more usefully than a quick prediction.

What the usual answer misses

What a test can and cannot decide

Aptitude, interest and personality assessments can each contribute clues. They cannot choose a stream on a student's behalf, guarantee an outcome or replace the student's own experience.

Sylvaris does not rank streams as better or worse. The aim is a more informed conversation between the student and the people supporting them.

The Sylvaris approach

How we work together

Start with a free 30-minute conversation with Aditya. If the guided Sylvaris Test is appropriate, he arranges a separate online or in-person session and reads the results with you as a Portrait, not a verdict.

Guidance is available from age 13. A parent or guardian must consent before anyone under 18 takes the Test.

Settle · Observe · Choose

What the guided experience involves

  1. Start with a conversation

Meet Aditya for 30 minutes, free. The Test is arranged separately only if it fits your question.

  2. Take the guided Test

Meet live, online or in person. Notice interests, personality, thinking preferences and work or life patterns without reducing them to one score.

  3. Read your Portrait

Consider a personal report, a seven-day practice and follow-up conversation. The Portrait is an invitation to reflect, not a verdict.

An honest boundary

Observation before prediction.

Sylvaris does not diagnose, promise a perfect career match or tell you there is one correct path. Its combination of measures is new and has not been independently validated. Assessment supports understanding; the choice remains yours.
