Students and families · Sylvaris

You don't need to know your career at 15.

You need a better way to explore. A Class 10 decision can be thoughtful without pretending it settles the rest of your life.

Start with the question behind the question

What do you want to be? can be hard to answer when you have only seen a small part of working life. The student may be asking something closer to: What can I try, and what am I allowed to change later?

Marks, family hopes and practical constraints all matter. So do the student's curiosity and the kind of effort they are willing to repeat.

Look closer

Explore, then choose

Look for activities that absorb attention and questions the student keeps asking. Try a small project or a short conversation with someone in a field of interest. Ask the school which subject changes are actually possible under its rules.

These steps cannot remove uncertainty. They can make a choice more informed and give the family a shared way to talk about it.

What the usual answer misses

What guidance does not do

Career counselling is not a promise of admission, a guaranteed career match or a way to tell a student who they must become. A test, if used, contributes clues rather than an instruction.

Sylvaris does not diagnose or provide therapy. If a student needs clinical support, that deserves an appropriate professional.

The Sylvaris approach

A conversation with Aditya

Begin with a free 30-minute conversation. Aditya works with ICSE and IGCSE students and can speak with the student and parent about the question in front of them.

If a guided Sylvaris Test would add value, it is arranged as a separate live session online or in person. Anyone under 18 needs parent or guardian consent before taking it.

Settle · Observe · Choose

What the guided experience involves

  1. Start with a conversation

Meet Aditya for 30 minutes, free. The Test is arranged separately only if it fits your question.

  2. Take the guided Test

Meet live, online or in person. Notice interests, personality, thinking preferences and work or life patterns without reducing them to one score.

  3. Read your Portrait

Consider a personal report, a seven-day practice and follow-up conversation. The Portrait is an invitation to reflect, not a verdict.

An honest boundary

Observation before prediction.

Sylvaris does not diagnose, promise a perfect career match or tell you there is one correct path. Its combination of measures is new and has not been independently validated. Assessment supports understanding; the choice remains yours.

Questions people ask

Is Class 10 too early for career guidance?

It is a useful time to explore interests and choices, provided nobody expects a final answer about a lifelong career.

Do parents attend?

They can. The student has space to speak, and the family can discuss the decision together.
