Burnt out, or has the work stopped making sense?

You do not have to decide that question from one difficult week. Look at what is demanding too much, and what has become hard to understand or care about.

Exhaustion is real; its cause may be less obvious

Long hours, a difficult manager, insecure work, caring responsibilities and a poor fit can all feel draining. Sometimes several are present together.

If you are struggling, rest and practical support matter. A reflective conversation is not a substitute for healthcare or for changing unsafe working conditions.

Look closer

A way to look at work coherence

Ask whether your work feels understandable: can you make sense of what is asked of you? Ask whether it feels manageable: do you have enough resources and room to act? Ask whether it feels meaningful: can you see why the effort matters to you?

These are questions for inquiry, not a diagnosis. A difficult answer in one area does not prove that you chose the wrong profession.

What the usual answer misses

Why quick career advice may miss the point

A job-fit score cannot tell you whether a lighter workload, a different team, a boundary or a different role would change the experience. Quitting may be right for some people, but it is not a prescription we make from a questionnaire.

Sylvaris does not diagnose burnout, provide psychotherapy or promise that a career change will resolve distress.

The Sylvaris approach

Look at the pattern with someone

Start with a free 30-minute conversation with Aditya. If the guided Sylvaris Test is useful, it happens later in a live online or in-person session and leads to a Portrait and a seven-day practice.

The aim is to distinguish what may need recovery, what may need a change in conditions, and what may deserve a deeper career question.

Settle · Observe · Choose

What the guided experience involves

  1. Start with a conversation

Meet Aditya for 30 minutes, free. The Test is arranged separately only if it fits your question.

  2. Take the guided Test

Meet live, online or in person. Notice interests, personality, thinking preferences and work or life patterns without reducing them to one score.

  3. Read your Portrait

Consider a personal report, a seven-day practice and follow-up conversation. The Portrait is an invitation to reflect, not a verdict.

An honest boundary

Observation before prediction.

Sylvaris does not diagnose, promise a perfect career match or tell you there is one correct path. Its combination of measures is new and has not been independently validated. Assessment supports understanding; the choice remains yours.

Questions people ask

Can Sylvaris tell me whether I have burnout?

No. Burnout and other health concerns need appropriate professional assessment. Sylvaris offers reflective career guidance.

Will the Test tell me to resign?

No. The Portrait helps you notice patterns; any decision remains yours.

What if I need help urgently?

Please contact a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency service. The free Sylvaris conversation is not crisis care.
